My 3 year old broke his elbow this summer jumping over me in the grass in our backyard. I was laying down...

They will find a way to damage themselves.

I'm impressed that he made it that long without getting a real Booboo. I'm thinking mommy of the year. My kids beat themselves up awfully young.

Four weeks of cast, he was a trooper. It dislocated at the same time it broke, but he was amazingly good about the whole thing

I was going to suggest that but didn't because then you'd feel bad that he had fallen asleep without it   glad you gave it to him.

Oh gosh.   Poor little guy.
It amazing how quickly they heal. I broke my arm in 6th grade and it took 8 weeks to heal. And it was just a small fracture.
