Do you ever want or need

Your dh or so to just get lost for a few days or a few weeks? I love dh but at times I feel like I need a break from him, he is like another very demanding child lol. He is making plans to go away and I am excited (I know I will end up missing him) but I need me time !!
Everytime he makes plans to go away for a week he comes home after two days because he gets home sick, so I hope this time he sticks it out!!

YES but at the same time I would think it was no fair since I never get to do anything either lol.

I wouldn't want him gone for a week but I love the rare times he'll take the kids and go spend the day at his brothers.
The whole day to myself to nap or sew uninterrupted, smurf without an audience, not have to share my snacks, not get lectured because I'm eating cheese and crackers or cereal for dinner...
It's glorious.  

Yah I do lol My DH will be going to help his brother move from CO in a month or so for 2 days and Im looking forward to it. We havent be appart one day since we first moved in together about 6 1/2 years ago.

Im in the same boat I never get to go anywhere and if the opertunity does arise I feel so guilty about leaving the boys that I end up making excuses and stay home.

Yes. I loved having some alone time before I was pregnant. Now when he travels I'm just bummed. I'm sure when I've settled into some kind of routine when this babe comes I'll go back to enjoying a quiet evening or two sans husband.

no. My husband works and goes to school full time so I hardly get to see him during the week anyways, so i'm good with just that being our "away time" he will let me go and have alone time soaking in a bath or going out when ever I would like without any arguments. I tried going to kansas city to see family for a week without him and I don't see that ever happening again in the near future. we met online, but didn't meet until a year later and got married a week after he moved out here and after almost 3 years, we still spend as much time together as possible.

hahah i know. i hate having a audience to shower too. nothings worse than when your 5 year old walks in on you shaving your crotch...
