quick question.. when you make your own its 5 yards of jersey knit right? (i wear a medium in most shirts)
also how many yards would be needed for a 5 year old to have one who wears a 5t?
i want to make matching wraps for me and my daughter

Ive been wondering how to make mommy and me moby wraps

Yes, it's 5-6 yards of a semi-stretchy fabric. You can also use cotton gauze. Much cooler in the hotter months. For your DD, I would think like 3 yards would be plenty?

Yeah thats how much i bought. something I learned later though is they are NOT good (very dangerous) for back wraps. I switched to a woven wrap (none stretchy) and they are more versatile and safer. Plus they support children who weigh more. Idk if that helps but I wish someone had told me in the begining. I do like my home made moby though <3
