Rib pain

Okay so my son is 5 weeks old. In labor I was having severe rib pain in my left side. My doctor said my lo was using my ribs as leverage to push himself out. Well it hurt so bad in labor I couldn't catch my breath well now the past 2 weeks I feel like there is a knife stabbing me in the same Area?? It hurts to walk around and I literally swear it feels like something is in there. What could this be?

Have you asked them if maybe you broke a rib? It can happen and you not realize you did it til your in pain.
