What is going around?

What illness is going around with these symptoms?

Lethargy/fatigue
Fever with red flushed appearance
Dry mouth/thirst
Headache
Sore throat without cough

Lasts about 1-2 days.

There seems to be no nausea or vomiting. Not diarrhea or any stomach disturbances. Maybe lack of appetite at most. Some people are sneezing a lot, some are not.
A woman I work with had it, now half my work group does. My daughter has it. A kid in her class seems to have it. It skipped me so far.

No clue what it is, but my kids just got over it. My turn next, I suppose.

I just wanna know if it can be had twice, and how it's spreading.

IDK...but where I live and some near by cities reports of influenza are here, a little boy died last week in T.O from it.

I don't think this seems like the flu? It could very well be, but it's so mild. It's more of an inconvenience than an illness.

No idea, but ever guy at SO's work got it at the same time.
SO came home and gave it to me. -_-
Some how LO got lucky and did not get sick.

I thought we were going to die.

my son is getting over some random illness but hasnt really had any symptoms besides high fever and being congested. but whatever he had, i now have now. it seems theres so much smurf going around right now

Sounds like strep throat to me. I'd take her to the doctor ASAP for an antibiotic

We have that here, minus the fever (unless it's just super mild, I thought LO felt warm but not warm enough that I was really worried). She's been sneezing a bit (we all have) and keeps saying her throat is sore. My throat is a little icky and my head killlls.

I think it's just a super mild cold. I hope it doesn't get worse
