I'm not going in. I can barely stand up right now and my heart is pounding. It could take me months to get into a cardiologist, so I'm going to the ER. Hopefully I don't get fired.

Thanks, hun. I'm going to fax them my note and talk to HR tomorrow. I feel awful, and I only slept for 3 hours.

I haven't but I can understand why you would need to if this is the way they are treating you.

Good luck. If they do fire you, raise hell, lots of it. Them being understaffed is their issue, not yours, although you are the one that pays the price of it.
