Pineapples?!

Anyone ever eat pineapples or mangos and had contractions which started labor? Might be a stupid question, but just interested. I've heard many stories of how it actually worked, but every pregnancy is different and baby will come when ready.   Not looking for negative posts, just being an interested soon to be FTM  

i have never heard of mangos..... i just bought a bunch of mangos..lol that better not put me in labor especially this early

They contain an enzyme called bromelain which some suspect to help induce labor. Not enough research though...

I went to Sam's Club today and bought fresh pineapple and mango that they had already cut up. Less work for me   I'm eating it like crazy right now!

Ya I did, and it did not work at all

I ate a full pineapple and it cave me some contractions but not enough to really doing anything!

The day of my due date I went for a very long walk and came home and drank about 32 oz. Of pineapple juice & later that night I was in active labor so I always thought it helped but not sure

By the way OP I think you're suppose to eat the core of the pineapple.

cant have pineapples unless i want to kill DH lol.
