To shave or not to shave?

So when I had dd I shaved before I went into be induced (eveything legs and vag). This time I'm having a csection and debating if I should shave or not. I shaved my legs yesterday do they're good to go. But I am debating my vag. Would it cause complications either way? I know they shave u a little anD I don't want razor burn pain on top of csection pain. But I also don't know if it increases infection risk to shave beforehand. I hate drs seeing me unshaven haha!! And plus if I can shave for awhile after I don't wanna get super bushy haha. It's at a length right now that is annoying and I want to shave but I don't want to cause any problems. If I do it would probably be today. And I'm afraid if they shave over it in two days it'll cause bad razor burn. Any experience with this?

I shaved the day before I had Heathen, and she was born via c-section.
Since I had shaved, they didn't have too

I personally shave all the time because I hate hair. I don't think it would cause an infection.

When i was going in for the emergency c-section, they shaved everything around my bikini line. I wouldn't be real thorough, but it might be worth cleaning up that area if you can reach comfortably.  

I didnt have time to shave with DD... The ended up trimming the upper part so they could cut...

They way the shaved it was really weird and made me burn really bad...i shaved with DS and it was fine

If you don't do it, they will.

I shaved frequently my last four weeks. I guess I just feel weird having someone look down there and there's hair.   I am pretty sure if you don't, they do.

I had shaven and had a three day quarter inch growth enough to wax and they left it saying I had it short enough to not worry
so if your dr. says no shaving trim it really close by leaving that bit of growth you should be able to let them shave you and not get the razor burn if you choose not to shave also mention it to your nurse and they may bring in a good razor not the two blade crap our hospital uses an electric lol but anyway some dr.s will let you accommodate for that if your not having an emergency

K I think I'll shave   I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't screw anything up by doing it haha. They keep sayin they'll shave me and idk if it's just cause they probably see most people not shaven at the end of preg haha. But I just feel weird not shaving. Especially when it could be awhile before I'm up to Doin it again.

I didn't have a c section but I made sure everything was at least trimmed up down there when I went into labor

Ive had 2 c-sections, both times I trimmed. Not fully shaved, but now bush either. It was easier for the doc and myself to keep everything clean. He didnt shave me either.
