Haha! I guess I meant the state as a whole... but yeah... NYC... not the most beautiful. I lived in Queens and LI for a few years... you should take your kids up to the Adirondacks during the summer! Gorgeous up there.

We usually go camping somewhere in upstate or PA. And DS spends most of his summer with my mom who lives in rural NJ. So we do get away but I would kind of like it to be where we live away, and visit the city to party. Hopefully one day......

My SO and I were just talking earlier about how we don't want to live in NYS anymore. Ugh. I want to go somewhere warmer. Cheaper cost of living. Those are my two conditions.

Ditto! I want to move to Arizona or New Mexico. But DH hates hot weather. He's from Poland so he's used to cold and dark. Ew.

NM is my dream, I think. I absolutely loved Santa Fe the time I visited... gorgeous, people were so chill compared to NY... I remember how zany it was getting on the plane at JFK with everyone running around like a chicken with their head cut off... and then getting off the plane in Albequerque and everyone was just walking and smiling and.... sigh.

Gorgeous views, too. And the adobe houses were awesome.

I like New Mexico. I actually like Nevada too. I do not care for Arizona though. Then again, I'm sort of sick of the desert. I'd love to move to a state in the south, with green, and seasons, and snow.

Absolutely. As fun as NYC is to visit... it's incredibly stressful to live there.

haha. I'm sure I'd grow sick of it, but it's such a novelty to me. Seriously, I see MAYBE half a day worth of snow a year, and none at all some years. I have to go drive up to the mountains to see more then the tiny bit that falls and melts by noon here, haha

I live in one of (or THE) snowiest city in the U.S. depending on what source. I hate the snow. It's awful. haha... there were about 30 accidents this morning alone because of the snow.

My mom was in KY for a while and I went to visit her in December a few years. It was amazing! All the snow. We were actually like snowed in!! I'd never seen so much snow or coldness in my entire life. Here, when it gets below 70 we start to put on jackets, haha
