Just UGGGGHHHHHH!!!!

Okay so,
I told my mom that I want to work... what crime is there in that? IDK but she SWEARS there is. My son is in a school where he's only in school for 3 1/2 hours a day! So I am at home all day long watching paint dry bored as ever!

So now she's mad because I told her I want to work. Like what in the hell is wrong with that?

She says im not thinking about my son. How am I not thinking about him when I'm trying to make money for us so I can move out of her house!

Any advice ladies?

Get a job. No harm in wanting to provide for yourselves at all.

Get a job. As long as you can find a job during the hours he's at school and/or pay for the additional childcare... she shouldn't care.

My mother tried guilting me into not going back to work. You need to do what you think is the best. You have my respect for getting out there and trying to support your son!

You're not the first mom in history to go to work. Tell her so.

That is what I was thinking

My mom and her side of the family get so smurffy if I ever want to work. They say the mom is supposed to stay home and take care of the baby and I'm pretty sure they think daycare is the devil lol. Then my dad's side all the moms work! So it's like either way I'm doing it wrong. I have had a few part time jobs where I work when my husband is home. Otherwise it doesn't make sense for me to work because all of my money would just be going to daycare.

You should be in school. These minimum wage jobs will get you nowhere. I'm going back myself almost immediately after I give birth. And trust me school aint going nowhere but neither will you without some dirt if degree or certification . That's just facts

I understand that but I need something to keep me busy 1. while waiting for the next semester to start, and 2 to get some extra income so I can do what I want for Isaiahs bday also so I can move.

If I find a job now, by the time its time to go back to school for Summer semester, I will be able to change my work schedule to work around my school schedule.
