Stupid depression

I seriously hate it. I have been in a slump for over a week now. I'm a really outgoing person but since we moved out here it's just gone down hill. We live way the smurf out in the country, I've always lived in the country but not this far out. We're an hour away from the nearest town but there isn't anything there and I don't know anyone. 3 hours away from everything and everyone I know. I want to go out and do something, I get up to do it then just decide that staying home would be better. My husband has been so supportive and understanding but I'm just going nuts. The only people I talk to are momma's on BG, I've become distant with all of my friends. I'm feeling sorry for myself, I know that. I just can't smurfing get up and get out of it. On top of it I've had this smurfing headache, it'll go away for a little bit then come right back. I'm just complaining. I just need to get out of th is smurfing depression. Ugh.

I have been there. I know it's hard but push yourself to get dressed up and make your DH take you out of a night. Just gettin out of the house and breaking your routine can do wonders. Sometimes you just need a break or some grow up time. Is there someone you can get to watch your kids for a couple of hours? I live in the middle of no where also. Sometimes just going to Walmart by myself (sad, eh?) for an hour make me feel more like a human.

DH told me to take the baby to my mom's house and he'd keep our older son and go to town and stay with one of my friends tonight. I don't want to go anywhere without him. It's hard for him to get out because of the cows. He doesn't get done feeding until like 2pm, then he has to do other stuff. We're always together but I want to go out on a date night, it's just really hard for him.

I know my DH is gone from 11 to 8 every night. He does dairy and grain. Most of the time when he get home he is beat. He only had off one day a week so having time for us is very rare. I completely understand where you are coming from with the cows. Listen to him though and go out. It will be hard, you won't want to go, get ready, and will prolly be crabby till you get where ever you are going. That is how I normally am. Then you will let l

I just talked to one of my friends and she's off on Saturday so I will try to go up there, it just sucks having to drive so damn far KWIM? I feel guilty leaving DH here.

Don't feel guilty. Everyone needs time to them selves. You seems like you have a really understanding DH. Even though you are married and have kids you still need some time to yourself. That doeant make you a bad person. You shouldn't feel guilty about it. As long as your LO is taking care of go enjoy yourself.
