My hospital hasn't mentioned a free bag. A friend is delivering there next month. I'll see if she gets one.

And I used the one I got with DS1 for the daddy diaper bag---we kept it in DH's trunk for emergencies.

I have owned a $300 bag, $50 bag and my current $20 bag, which has been my favorite. 2 sippy pockets on outside. Front zipper compartment for my keys & phone. Front velcro pouch we use for binky. 4 side pockets inside with plenty of room in the main compartment & zips shut. Straps are long enough to be carried like a tote. Doesn't show dirt and is holding up very well.

Is it machine washable?

The care instructions say to wipe with a damp cloth or hand wash cold. I have been able to clean anything off of it with just a wet rag or baby wipe. We've spilled juice in it and had mud all over it and it cleaned very easily. The tag says its polyester. It feels like canvas almost. The other thing I love is that it has the little straps inside to hook onto the stroller.

I love the DUO diaper bag by Skip Hop. I bought it before my daughter was born and we still use it time to time (I usually use a Hello Kitty back pack now because its more "toddler" like lol) but I'm expecting again and I def want to get one again probably in a different design. It isn't bad on price either $58. The shoulder pad is so comfy and I loved all the pockets

I had never known of a hospital giving out diaper bags either. It was in a small town (patrick's family's hometown) and everyone knows everyone. It probably wasn't something they just handed out but they gave me one because they felt like they knew me. I got so damn lucky going into labor there. haha

Psh. It was basically free! Cause when you are done with it and go to sell it on Craigslist/ebay, you can easily get what you paid. Can't do that with a cheapy bag!

So true. Except it WAS free because a BG mama friend of 4 years and counting PayPal-Ed me the money when I was telling her how excited I was to go look at it!

OMG...that is so awesome!!! I hope you love your bag. Definitely get those valet clips, mine came free with the Touring Tote...but they're just as great with the Boxy.

Amazon has them for $18 and she PP me the $80 she originally asked, so I have the money for them  

I have a jujube bff, its great cause its washable in the washing machine has a wipeable material and so many great pockets, the bottle pockets are insulated. And it come with a messenger strap and backpack straps. They retail for 180ish but i got mine on sale for like 130$ and you can get them used as well for around your price range sometimes cheaper too. So many pretty patterns as well.
