If you think something is wrong stick with it. I have a son with severe ADHD and ODD and it took us over two years for them to finally take us seriously and realize it was not our parenting and he has problems. Now that we have a diagnosis and have been working with him our problems are few and far between and life in our house is much happier. Good Luck!

We're going on over a year now. He used to be in 3 therapies and seeing specialists and everyone basically said he was fine because he met his goals. But now he's back in the same rut he started in at a year old.

I just want to help him.

If you are comfortable sharing, what are some of his behavioral issues?

I will name a few because I literally have a paper front and back covered. But-

-He has a memory like nothing I've ever seen before. We have to take the same route to every store and if not it's a 20 minutes meltdown.
-He has a bed time routine that takes him 2 hours to fall asleep. He wants a certain blankie, certain shirt, certain toy, fan on, fan off, his drink has to be placed a certain spot.
-He HAS to do everything himself (which is great) but if he doesn't and I help, it's literally a 30 minute meltdown.
-He attaches to certain toys and will keep a hold of them for months at a time. He literally NEVER puts it down and if he does, he remember exactly where he put it. If it's not there when he gets back he will not do anything else until he finds it.
-Another big thing of his is he has to have every door shut in the house.

I could keep going on forever.
