i know how you feel. my DH had his in Sept 2010. kinda crazy knowing that you wont be able to have more, although it is a big relief too. you just have to maje sure you guys are protected for his first 90 days, or until they test his sperm count to 0

I felt the same, a little bittersweet, but while somedays I think awww another baby would be nice, I even know while I'm saying it I don't REALLY want another baby.

Nah, you dont need a GP referral for a vasectomy, you can show up at a clinic for the procedure & the DR will approve you then & there.

Or you can book before hand to see if you'll be approved & then schedule an appt for when suits you.

I might have a chat to our DR first properly with hubby though!

I have mentioned it & she just gave me the 'Marie stopes' vasectomy info brochure, so i assumed we booked through them - not on medicare.
