what do you think

my one year anniversary with my boyfriend is on thursday
i sent him something i made, it should arrive tomorrow
(we are long distance)

would you be upset if you didn't get a card or something on your one year?
i am just curious if he'll send something (:
just an acknowledgment ... is that bratty if i get upset?

It's reasonable to want some acknowledgment for an anniversary whether its 1 year or 100.

I don't think its bratty, especially if all you want a card or a special phone call. I personally was just excited we were on our own. We had plans, but the girl who was supposed to relieve me at work never showed, so I had to work a double shift that day so he brought me lunch on my first break and I made him a nice dinner when I got home.

Not if you're sure he's aware it's your anniversary, no. My DH can't remember jack smurf for dates so I always make sure he knows my birthday is this week or our anniversary is this week so that I don't wind up upset that he forgot.

Same here. SO has no idea when the kids bdays are or mine or his moms. Im suprised he even remembers his own. He knows our anniversary is on my brothers bday, to bad he has no idea when that is

When he was adding me to his insurance after we got married he got my birthday wrong because instead of asking me he checked FB and my birthday on FB is accurate, but he used his phone and apparently the android FB had everyone's birthdays a day off at the time. Then the other day we were laying in bed talking and he spouted off the date he joined the marines and I just looked at him with a smirk on my face for a minute and I calmly said, "So, when did we start dating?" and he got this look of sheer panic and I cracked up LOL. It doesn't make me upset when he forgets stuff like that but I do love to give him a hard time about it. He already forgot our wedding date and it hasn't even been a year yet haha.
