If it looks like little tiny pimples, it could be a yeast rash. DS sometimes gets that and rash cream won't do anything for it. We had to use an anti-fungal cream on it. He only got it in his crack, too.

I used moist paper towel when my little guy had a rash then would pat dry and put lanolin on his bum. It seemed to be the only thing that worked after trying butt paste, destin, and a & d.

Triple Paste will cure it in a day. I've tried them all on both of mine as babies and this one worked every single time within 24 hours. It's at walmart, and all the major stores for that kind of stuff

So I talked to my daughters doctor and he thinks its a yeast rash, so he called in an anti-fungal cream for us to use. And we have to make an appointment. My poor baby,

Why do you have to make an appointment if he called in a cream for you?   All you really need to do is go to any drug store and buy an OTC anti-fungal cream...like Monistat.

He told us to make an appointment for a week later just in case the anti-fungal cream didn't take it away. We've been using it for almost 4 days now and its getting better but still hasn't went away fully. How long would it take when your babies had it to heal completely?

That's weird that you have to go back...I can tell my baby doesn't have a rash just by looking at his bum...lol
When my baby had a yeast rash, he had it for about a month. Nothing I was doing was working...breastmilk would take it away, but then it would come back as soon as I stopped. Vinegar would take it away for a while, but then it came back...finally, I made an appointment at the clinic and the nurse there mixed me up some "miracle cream" (basically Monistat) and told me to apply it up to 4 times daily as needed, along with cornstarch baby powder. I put it on every other diaper change and within 3-4 days, it was gone.
