re: Breast feeding ?!

Breast size has nothing to do with breastfeeding. My boobs didn't get bigger until my milk came in.

Mine changed none during my 1st pregnancy then 3 days after she was born boom went from "A" to "D" over night. I had colostrum after she was born but I didn't feed her enough because my ex husband was like give her formula she needs it... ugh. Pisses me off to this day I listened to the douche

you won't know until the baby comes. i'm not trying to be depressing, but with my first pregnancy, my boobs never changed. they never grew or anything. i experienced sensitivity in them at the very beginning, but that was it. i asked my doctor and she said it was normal and not to worry. when my daughter was born, i didn't produce enough milk. i don't know why. i tried everything, did what they said to try to get my supply up and it never worked.
so.... basically, you just don't know until you deliver. i'm sure the doctor told me not to worry because she saw that happen a lot-- no change in breasts and still able to breastfeed. i doubt she would have lied to me just to be a jerk, lol. plus, there;s really nothing they can do beforehand to help with your supply anyway. so.... just wait til the baby comes. most likely, you will be fine. there is a slim chance you won't be able to breastfeed, but i say just hope for the best and be determined and try. that's all you can do! good luck!

Two good sites to know about are kellymom.com and breastfeedinginc.ca. Sorry can't link from phone. They have answers to just about every breastfeeding question you can think of. It's normal to have some challenges, but it gets easy. It helps if you have access to reliable info that tells you yeah, that's normal, you can get through it.

It's normal to over think and be worried. I successfully bf dd1 for 2.5 yrs and I'm still stressing about not producing enough for dd2 when she arrives. Everyone keeps saying "oh youre gonna be fine, your body already knows what it's doing". But I still can't help but worry.

My breasts didn't change until today, when my milk started coming in. They now look like they've gone up a cup size. Just get that baby on your breast as soon as its out. Every time she shows a hunger cue I get her on there. I was worried about it the last 2 days because my milk wasn't coming and she wasn't latching. But everything is fine now.
