i think men just get their rocks off controlling women (pretty sure it was a man who said you can't choose to do that). i think it should be an option, esp if you're paying for it. men can voluntarily get snipped and they don't have to deal with anything either way. yet women can only get their tubes tied and still have to deal with the hassle.

It's a risky procedure, that's why. I think my hyster took 3 hours total   My OB/GYN told me that he's had ladies bleed out before during necessary procedures. It's just not really worth the risk when you come down to it when there are safer procedures for sterilization.
