Cup question.

Do you think it is important to move up in the cup stages. My son has been using a sippy cup since he was 3 month old. He has been using the same style since then too... With the two side handles. It's like a step 1 cup. Today I got him a slept 4 cup with a straw cuz I thought it might be important for him to use a more mature cup. Wasn't sure. My husband got bitchy cuz the stare cup leaks.. So I think I'll find one that is leak proof. He drinks just fine from it.
Oh. He is 14 months old

After 12 months, I moved the twins to hard spout sippies.

At 18 months, they started drinking out of regular cups.

He throws his cup after every drink. I think he will drink from a sippy till he is 12
