I am grateful

Beyond measure for the love I have for my children and husband. Everyday I have the joy of sharing with them is such a blessing. Having the ability to watch my beautiful children learn and grow brings me so much joy. Truly, it is also saddening to see them grow so fast, but the happiness I feel for them as they gain more independence through their lives is a key component of my love for them as a mother.

It is difficult not to wish they could stay young forever, and that everyday would be blessed with their kisses and cuddles...

I hate to think of the day they no longer need me to kiss their booboos, hold their hands, tickle them ferociously, and tuck them in snug as bug a night.

In these times where I feel emotional thinking about how quickly time escapes us, I am thankful, though, to be daily reminded that long after my children have grown and started their own lives, that I will still have my memories of their happy childhood, and that I will still have my heart and soul (my terry bear) to give and receive all the tickles, hugs, kisses and cuddles that I can handle.

Family is the greatest blessing in all the world. I hope each and everyone of you are able to take a moment each day to truly count your blessings.

Quit it.

I just got a little emo today. My babies aren't babies anymore. I got sniffly over it too. My DH probably thinks I'm just preggo and moody, but he snuggled right up to me and let me cry it out for a second. Then he proceeded to blow raspberries on my tummy until Jonas started kicking. What a cute husband I have!

I just really hope that everyone here knows that even if their lives aren't as they wish, there are so many blessings here right before us all, we just need to open our eyes.
