Eating Disorder Thread?

Is there an eating disorder thread here? I am assuming there might be a PTOT, since I can't locate one with the search function, and if so can anyone point me towards the person running it?

It'd probably do more good to not be private.

I am part of a thread with some really known members of BG. its for ED's self harm and depression, the ladies are all SOOO helpful in there

No it wouldn't. People are judgmental and expect people to not have bad days. A public one is not worth it.

I'm surprised there isn't one already. I don't want to start one, because I disappear a lot, lol.

I do think there should be one, as I've seen a LOT of women on here with issues. I do like the idea of a PT only thread though, to eliminate some of the issues of talking about these problems, you know? Not wanting to share it with everyone.

I completely disagree. Eating disorders are very private disorders and should be discussed privately. I know I would not be comfortable talking about my eating disorder publicly. As I don't feel comfortable discussing some of my mental health concerns

This. Women on here can be vicious, and there are some things that you don't want to share with them all.

No "people" aren't. smurfs might, but having a public place for others to join with like problems would benefit more than a hidden place. Not hiding it is one of the first steps of overcoming it.
