Well it could since there is a really terrible strain of the flu going around that is killing healthy people . So I was wondering if I am being paranoid or if there is a real risk here.

I guess I'm just wondering about how he actually inhaled it and getting some respiratory infection. But I know nothing about these things, I always assume they'll be fine no matter what happens but this one I needed to check about.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't need urgent care. Maybe give his pedi a call ASAP.

I think he'll be fine. Call the pedi to check but I wouldn't run to urgent care or the ER

He's most likely fine.   I think the danger to newborns is that they don't have great immune systems. 11 months old have been exposed to stuff for a while now, so the chances are smaller. Plus I would stay away from the ER or urgent care unless it was truly needed with all of the cooties flying around.
