My poor boy has pink eye in both eyes.
My bf can get his eye drops in just fine.
He's at work now.
Me on the other hand have been trying for about an hour now.
He even hid under his bed and in his closet.
I've thrown in my white flag.
My dad the wonderful person that he is, is driving and hour to help me.

I've tried everything.
Even the whole close your eyes and then have him open them.
He just wipes it off and I can't be wasting them like that.

I don't know what else to do.
 

Have him lay on his back with his eyes closed. Put the drop into the corner of his eyes,when he opens them laying down the drop will go into his eyes. Easy peasy

how old is he?!

My son had pink eye at like a week old. They told me to wait until he went to sleep and do it then... maybe that will help

Already tried it.
The second he realized I put it on the corner of his eye he freaked out.
I'm talking screaming bloody smurfing murder.
And of course he turned the wrong way so it didn't even go in his eye.

He's four.
And he has to have the drops every 2-4 hours.
At this point we've almost reached the 4 hour mark.

Make him? I've had to hold mine down before to give them drops. Has to be done.

I sat on his arms and tried to pretty much pry his eyes open but he shuts his eyes so tight I can't.
Plus on top of that he's already screaming and crying.

Wait untill he calms down and try again? Explain to him if he is still it will go fasr and he won't even know its happening. Maybe offer him a treat or an extra few minutes up at bed time if all else fails?

already tried. the bribery everything. my dad just came over for about an hour and a half and still we couldn't get him to just do it.

i don't let him have candy much and i told him i'd go get him some candy if he just took the eye drops. he even fell asleep but wasn't facing a way where i could even attempt to get the eye drops in with out waking him up.
