What should I pack?

posted 22nd Jan
For the hospital visit for baby? I know they supply diapers, formula, and paci's, but that's about it. How many sleepers, otfits, etc...?

well i guess it depends on when the baby is due
i packed 3 short sleeve onsies but kept her naked but swadled most of the time
one poofy pretty dress for photos
and one outfit for coming home
but it was summer so it was really warm all the time.

its always better to over pack though.. for spitups and diaper leaks

I took 2 onesies and 2 sleepers, (Onesies under the sleepers), 2 pair of socks, a blanket, and a boppy.
I had a 3 day stay, though, because I had c-sections. First day she wore the little shirt the hospital put on her and stayed swaddled in the blanket they give. Next two days, I changed her outfits.

The hospital provided all the clothes till I left. I didn't use half the stuff I packed with DD, so I'm only taking what I absolutely need this time.

I think I'll do like 3 sleepers and a couple of outfits... I dunno.
W/ DS1 I didn't pack him anything for the hospital, I have no clue as to why I did that?? I guess being a first time mom. But I remember regreting not packing him any clothes bc all the hospital supplied was those little t-shirts.. And that was it. I had to send SO home to get him clothes. I just want to be more prepared this time, ya know?

My hospital supplies literally everything. If you want a cute going home outfit or one for photos pack that but otherwise we were told all you have to have is a properly installed carseat for going home. That being said I specifically have a picture outfit and going home outfit and a pair of socks for him in his diaper bag. That's all i'm bringing. My bag on the other hand is a little more full of stuff.
