cardio is good for you, but you should try to throw in weight lifting as well because it keeps your "internal furnace" hotter than cardio does..so you burn more fat... i did cardio a lot when i first started and i lost 5 lbs & couldn't lose anything after.. so i started doing weight lifting, cardio, and pole dancing (which i consider to be both lol) i ended up losing 37lbs in 4-5 months..
But you def want to work out atleast a hr
