Yaz and spotting

I just started Yaz one week ago (last tuesday) For the past 3 days Ive been spotting. I know this is normal, I just dont know how long its going to last.

I started it before I had my first post partum period.

just letting you know ffs. Why would you start it before your period? Your period might come now anyway. What is happening to you sounds like what happens if I try to skip my period and keep taking the pills.

Sounds like breakthrough bleeding because you took it before you were supposed to.

Just a heads up -- Yaz caused infertility with me. I was on Yaz for about 3 months, and stopped taking it because I was in so much pain from cramps. I had no period for a year, and then bled for 2 years straight because of that damn pill. I know all BC comes with risks, but that one has had a lot of lawsuits filed against them...

My doctor told me to start it the day I got it. I havent had a period in almost a year.

Well, Im not worried about infertility. Im using this short term, until I can have my tubes tied. Ive got my consult on feb 4th, so hopefully I can get it done right away. I can't get pregnant again. My youngest (4th kid) is 7 weeks old, and she was a surprise. I thought I miscarried at 8 weeks, and found out at 5 monthss that I hadnt. I am done with kids. So done.
