I've been doing pretty good keeping track, still going over my daily calories though :/
My first goal is to lose 30 pounds. I've lost 5 so far. After 30 pounds i will reassess my body and decide how much more i want to lose. I'm currently 5'4, 256 pounds. The lowest i have been in the last 2 years was 245.... My happiest I've ever been with my body was mysophomore year of high school. I was around 150 pounds and a size 7, size 5 on a good day :/ i wear a 16 now...... Its depressing...

I have horrible portion control and am a major over eater.. I also have a love for bread and pasta. I can't for the life of me figure out how to only eat 1240 calories. I'm eating less than i was, but i could easily eat a few thousand calories every day...

Maybe change your weight loss goal? Like, if its set for 2 lbs/week, lower it to 1? Are you working out enough?
I get 1210 calories a day. So I work out extra hard on the days when I want to eat more
Its super hard but so far I haven't gone over my calories!

I'm not working out enough for sure, I'm trying to get my eating under control then build up to working out more. I do a lot of cleaning so i log that into my daily activities, and i walk for at least 15 minutes a day. But that's about it. And I'm set for 2 pounds a week. Today I've put in everything i have ate and plan on eating and I'm at 1250, which is great, but i almost always end up eating more than what I've set aside for the day. I always add every little thing i eat so that I'm honest with myself. Its helped a ton with realizing i need to eat less, and that i just shouldn'teat some things period.

Yeah, its super nice to see how quickly it all builds up, its nice to be held accountable for it.
Maybe if you don't enter it all in before hand, you'll think twice about eating some of the things you're eating?

That is what I should be eating for me to reach my goal of 150. Have you lost any weight as of yet? How many calories are you going over? I love carbs and sugars, so I totally feel your pain!!

I'm averaging between 1500 and 1800 a day. I have lost 5 pounds since the first, which is great but I'd like to see more.

Thats a good loss so far!!! 1-2 pounds a week is healthy loss to be able to keep it off. How long have you been trying?

I've been wanting to lose weight for 2 years, but this month is the first time I've actually started trying. I'm not really working out at the moment, just counting calories and cleaning, so 5 pounds is pretty good. I know i could lose more if i exercised, and I plan on starting am exercise routine in February. Right now counting calories and controlling my eating is hard enough.
