Are u on my mfp? I weigh in everyday even though it's not recommended. I know weight fluctuates so I use it as motivation and not discouragement. And it helps keep me on track. When I lose I'm motivated to lose more and when I gain I'm motivated to do better the next day. But on my mfp it looks like I'm constantly losing to people who get my feeds because it doesn't say when I gain just when I lose. So I could lose a lb, gain 1/2 the next day, then lose a lb the next and it really is only a 1/2 lb loss overall but looks like 1. I confused my coworkers haha.

How many are u allotting on mfp? I only allot 1200 I try to stay 300 under before dinner then eat a normal dinner without counting. So far I'm 2 weeks pp and 9 lbs under my prepreg weight so I haven't quite figured my body out yet.

Actually I'm not on that site u mentioned I use spark people but it doesn't let u use it if u breastfeeding so I just add 300-500 more calories than it says for me to eat. I'm supposed to eat 1200-1500 so I add 300/500 to they. Sounds like ur doing great but u have no supply issue with just 1200? Cause I noticed I don't make enough milk for her with that maybe cause she is 2 month and need more? I dunno but if it's working and I having no issue keep going. And I weigh daily too lol I know I shoudlnt but I can't help it. But I only logg the weekly progress. So last week i was at 184.5 and today I'm at 180.0 so I'm happy with that and I'm hoping to keep at it but I always lose most first week so will c how it goes.

Heres my update =]
Last week I didnt work out, I had some things I needed to work on mentally that were holding me back. Thats my biggest issue, Ive found out.

This past weekend Joey took me out for Valentines day, I attempted to eat healthy, being gone all day Saturday and Sunday we ate out, but I onyl ate 2 outta the 6 meals what I would consider 'bad'. I did do alot of walking, lol.

While doing all of that walking, I twisted my ankle, and its just now starting to feel somewhat better. I can walk on it but not jumping or anything as of yet. And if I go up and down stairs or carry DS It hurts more because of the extra weight and pressure. Along with the nasty rainy weather I havent been able to go out and walk with the kids during the day, but I will be [starting tomorrow] going out and walking every morning, rain or shine before the hubby goes to work that way I can get some sort of exercise in until I can do it fully again.

I love this, able to tell people who actually care to hear about this. Thank you ladies!

That's ok. Sometimes life gets the best of us. It's important to get back on track and not give up

I haven't been doing well at all! Eating or exercising. I mean, I'm still losing because I dropped pop...but I'm feeling crappy again.

I hope your ankle feels better soon!

I stopped about a month ago....and here I am. Drinking one of DH's diet pops. lol I'm horrible. But I'll probably only drink half of it....I just get tired of water all the time. Flavored or not. It's only made me lose 5ish lbs, but that's better than nothing. lol

I think it's great for those giving up pop even if u losing 5ib or not losing, it does nothing good for u so either way it's win win. I never personally had pop problem I drink it when I have pizza or burger but don't care for it. My trouble is with tea. I luv tea. I'm not a big coffee drinker and I drink 3-
4 cups of tea
A day and I have to have sugar. I tried Splenda I tried lemon nothing works. Ugh! Need to do something bout it cause I don't
/can't give up my tea lol
As of exercising I started 30day shred and it's shredding my arse to pieces lol seriously it's killing me im so out of shape but I'm determined to continue it.
As of today I'm Out of the
180s, and weigh in
At
179 so I'm happy about that. Can't wait to be out of 170s next...just taking couple pounds at a time otherwise I'm going to get depressed and discouraged at the thught of how much more I have to lose.

Question, what r u ladies eating/cooking I'm always looking for healthy recipes so lets talk food ;)

I just cook whatever.
I don't fry anything, I bake almost everything.
I just watch my portions. We'll have a not-so-healthy meal once or twice a week. But it doesn't sabotage my weight loss or anything.

That's great!!! Keep going mama

I like to make fajitas. They're very low calorie. I always cook in sunflower oil. It's actually supposed to burn belly fat and is packed with good fats. I've also used olive oil. Those are the only two oils I use. I have the cheap veggie oil for when I make baked goods for events and such so I don't waste my expensive stuff. But I always use the good oils for my own home cooking. I make my own French fries intead of having frozen processed ones and cook them in sunflower oil. I eat hamburgers on a rice cake instead of a bun. I buy all whole grain pastas. We have a local store that makes store brand organics so I get those. I eat organic fruits and veggies as much as possible to eliminate the growth hormones and pesticides. I want to switch to organic milk but we have Wic and get 4.5 gals on milk on it and I'd hate to waste it. Ie told them we sont need that much but they still give it to us. Maybe someday I'll make the switch. We buy fresh farm pig for our pork products. We shared a half pig with our friends. Try to buy the most lean ground eef the store has. I buy special tortillas that are only 100 calories. I used to make Visalus shakes for breakfast before I got preg. They were not agreeing with me when morning sickness set in so I stopped but SO still does them. But I'm saving that for when my body plateaus. Special k cereal isn't too bad on calories. Almond milk is really low calorie.

Thanks mama, like I said I have long way to go so it doesn't seem much but progress in the right direction is I'm happy about that. And
Yes I luv almond milk too, I need to check out sunflower oil i use olive oil or the spray to bake things and latelly I been making a lot of stuff grilled and baked. Lots of fish chicken and turkey. And I've upped my veggie intake...which is a struggle for me because I don't care for them but trying to cook em differently so I don't get bored and I'm excited about eating em. Tonight I'm making baked chicken and brussels spouts with pomegranate, one of family favs.
