I'm always excited to be under calories haha. That means I get a snack at night haha!!

Ok thanks. I heard one lady say no don't add them back. She's lost like 100 lbs. but I don't want to lose unhealthy either. And idk if she did or not.

I wonder if we're talking the same person? LOL
But I always forget how that works also.

Manda asked me to come in and add my 2 cents.
Since Oct 2010 I have successfully lost over 140lbs on my own through portion control, increasing liquids and staying active. As far as exercise goes and what to eat back you should ALWAYS be at 1200 calorie net intake daily. Never go below it. You will put your body into starvation mode. So if say you "know" you went on the treadmill for an hour and burned 300 calories add it to your log (if you are using one) Daily things like cleaning and such just be mindful of..you dont have to go overboard and track every single step you take (though a pedometer with calorie counter is nice) but always be mindful if your daily intake of calories is at or near the 1200 calorie intake. If you know your going to be super active choose a healthy higher calorie (example some nuts, peanut butter etc) snack to offset what you may lose. Being active is important but what you eat IMO is even more important. 90% of my weight loss is due to choosing better healthier options and portion control. You can lose weight by just watching what your eating and maintaining a semi active lifestyle (I have 2 children that keep me busy!)
I hope this helps shed some light and way to go for becoming a size healthier!

Thanks babe! We were also curious about eating back your exercise calories. I know you've explained it to me before, but I forgot lol.
So say you're at a goal of 1500 and with exercise you only have eaten 1200. Is that fine?

I have always made sure that I was above 1200 calories even if my daily net intake was higher than that. Usually I would have 1400 calorie intake and probably eat between 1300-1350 daily after exercise. I don't think you need to eat back entirely to your net intake unless is substantially higher than 1200 calories. If you aren't losing change up your routine or add more calories for a few days...or subtract some but never go below 1200.

Im pretty frustrated right now. I weighed this morning, today is week 3 day 3 of Insanity, amd I had lost 2lbs on Friday when I weighed. Now Ive gained 4, the 2 back plus 2 more! I am aware I didnt eat the best I possibly could yesterday and didnt get thru the entire workout because Ive been having these hiorrible migranes that all I can do is sit until the meds kick in, but would I really gain 4 4 days?

Have you been watching sodium?
Water intake?
Also is AF around the corner?

Thanks. Sorry I just get confused so I wanna clarify. Ok So I get 1200 calories. Then I work out and burn 300. I should eat that back then? Or just eat te regular 1200 for the day and it will show 900 on my diary? Or enter the 300 bunt calories and still eat until it gets back up to 1200?

I just can't eat more...like physically it makes me sick to my stomach to eat so much. I've never been able to eat very much, so it's hard for me to meet my 1200 calories. I think I'm just more frustrated at my body...lol

Maybe add some extra calories to what you are saying then?

Yeah, I'll have to.

See, when I was counting calories before, I was still drinking pop...so that was a BIG part of my calorie intake. I didn't realize how hard it would be for me to meet my calorie goal without pop. lol
