New guy.

So I recently started talking to a new guy. He makes it very clear that we are just talking and not together. We act as if we were together in every aspect of a relationship but he won't say we are together. He told his mother about me and wants me to go meet his family. Now if we aren't in a relationship then why would I do that? I don't know, maybe I am overreacting. I just think that it is weird that he acts like we are together but won't say we are. Is this a red flag or just him taking it slow?

Depends on the guy. Does he have a shady history that you know of? It may be a red flag that he is seeing other women and doesn't want to be completely devoted to you until he can figure out what he wants. OTOH since he wants you to meet his family he may want their approval before making it official with you.

If nothing else ask why he wants you to meet his family if you aren't in a relationship

Not that I know of and that is what I was thinking. He may be talking to someone else and if that is the case thats fine, but don't lead me on you know? That would be a good question to ask though.

I'd wonder why he wanted to act like you were in a relationship but not have the title, i'd worry about him talking to someone else or actually being in a relationship.
