knitting needles

Okay anyone have experience with flying and bringing your needles in your carryon? I have heard mixed reviews on they are allowed/not allowed....

Also on another note do you like this? I just did this on a whim this evening for our dining room.

Love the painting  As for the knitting needles they would be considered a weapon at the rate TSA goes so I would put them in your checked luggage. Same for crochet hooks.

I've heard mixed reviews too. Call the airline. And ask if you can if they say no ask about plastic ones.

Thank you ladies! =) and I guess I will just call them when it gets closer to leaving. I'd love to be able to get some of my projects done on our 10hour flight home but we will see =)
