PLEASE DONT IGNORE!!!!! PLEASE READ AND SHARE. this is what happened to my cousin's daughter on friday on her bus ride home from school. im asking everyone's for help hit like on her story and share this in hopes of getting her story out there to help it get noticed so something will be done about it.

My 7 year old daughter has been getting bullied on the bus (GO AHEAD bus company) as well as on the school grounds at St. Louis Charter School (SLCS). I am so sickened that nothing has been done about any of the bullying on their end, and I'm simply fed up. My child, Dakota Lamb, came home from school today and I noticed that the entire back of her hair had been drastically chopped with the shortest layer being about an inch from her scalp at the top of her head. I am so livid that my child was assaulted by a deadly weapon when the 4th-8th grade students (yes, that's plural) took scissors to her head on a moving bus while picking on her. Please help us put an end to the violence and bullying in this school. I want everyone to know the wrongs that are not being righted in this school and on the buses of this bus company!!

No but that's cruelty and humiliation, which can be worse sometimes.

i dont know that it fits the legal criteria for assault, but it is clearly a problem that needs attention from parents and school.

hard to say. the bus was moving, if accidentally the scissors pierced her skin, it would be assault. it IS cruelty and humiliation though. poor girl  

I assume they were holding her down and physically forcing her to hold still while they did it, right?

I think it is and I would be going after everyone of those smurfing kids, the school and the bus.

i forgot to specify, it's not someone i know personally. this was posted from another "friend's" profile. i'd be tearing that bus driver a new ass hole and kinda think the 8th graders, that should know better, should have their hair chopped. this is the pic that was with it.

what did the parents do? did they go to school and raise hell? what about the bus company?

I'd persoanlly file charges against the little brats that were involved. I do believe that is assault. If spitting on someone is considered assault, this should be as well.

My child will NEVER ride a school bus b/c as far as I'm concerned, nothing good ever happens on the bus.

Right? I'm so glad our school is within walking distance. I've had so many horrible experiences on the bus, the worst coming home bleeding, the mildest having to get up at 5:30 and ride the bus for 2 hours every morning lol.

AMEN! to all of it. honestly, i'd much rather not even send DD to school. i've been thinking a lot about home schooling. if i read right, they bullied her at school too.

I am glad I'm not the only one! When my son sees a bus, he always says he cannot wait to ride it. I always tell him the only time he will ever ride the bus is for a field trip & I'll be on it with him.
