Yes in two seconds. I had a bf that was verbally abusive to my daughter while I was sick and stuck in bed, I didn't find out till afterwards but the second I did I told him to take a smurfing hike. There is no reason to treat a child like that, and if they are the type to verbally abuse a child what will they do to an adult in the wrong situation?

I agree. He's never put his hands on me or DS, but he needs to get his anger under control. I know the best thing would be to leave for a while and go home, I need to, but I'm just scared.

Yes. Being frustrated is one thing. Cussing at your 7 month old child and calling him a bitch it just too smurfing much. I would probably punch him in his face. Or atleast I would really,really want to.

You aren't giving up on your marriage, HE is by refusing to get help. You SHOULD leave, either for a little while or permanently. Don't let your child grow up under that kind of abuse, it may not seem like much but it will definitely have a very negative effect on the child, even just the tone of voice your husband is using would have an effect, let alone the words he is using.

Being a single parent is better than letting your baby get treated like smurf. What happens one day if he is alone with the baby and he won't stop crying and your DH does something worse than yell at him.

You staying and letting your son be treated like this WILL HURT AND AFFECT HIM. Don't be afraid to do what is right
