And that's exactly where I am at. I wish I could just burn my marriage certificate and that made us legally divorced, because I would have done that on Thanksgiving.  .

Right! Well I left him in Florida and moved back to Illinois February 12, 2009. When he came back in May, I told him I wanted a divorce. Lots and lots of drama happened. And then I went in to file for child support. I *thought* I filed for divorce around the same time, but apparently I didn't do the correct paper work or something..lol. And then when I did go in they told me we had to be separated for at least a year (I think) before I could file it because we were doing the divorce the "simple" way. Anyway after everything, our divorce was finalized October, 2010.

That's not to bad then.

I've been told it'll be around 3-6 months for a no fault uncontested.. But by the looks how his attitude, it'll be contested. Seeing as how you wants it done in 6, maybe I should make it take longer.  .

In a way I wish I would have been harder on him! Because he is such a smurf father and a smurf person in general.
