Just starting out *pics*

I'm starting to workout and change my eating. I want to lose 40-50 pounds. Do you think I will be too skinny if I lose that much? How long do you think it would take to lose that much? A year? I'm going to the gym 5 days a week.

Please forgive the picture quality. And my dirty mirror.

Congrats on getting started! I dont know if you'll be too skinny, but I wouldnt focus on a number, per se... You'll see your body changing, and you'll know where the balance is for you. You may gain tons of muscle and still be 20 lbs over your goal, but look amazing!

You're right. My main goal is to get a flat stomach again. I had it once a long time ago, lol.

IMO it depends on where the weight comes off at. You're more top heavy, so if you lose in your belly, arms, then it may not seem like too Mich weight lost.

But I think you should set a goal of being comfortable and happy with your body, as opposed to an actual number goal

I started gaining in my stomach, so I hope that's what comes off first.
