Number of siblings vs number of children

Being a post whore.

How many siblings do you and your SO/DH/BD have and how many kids do you have/want? Has the number of siblings you have affected the number of children you want and how?

SO and I each have one brother and we both want two kids and we want them decently close in age...2-4 years apart. My brother and I are 3 years and 2 days apart and were super close growing up. He and his brother are 9 years apart and only recently got close. They fought like cats and dogs when they were younger. We both want our kids to grow up close.
I used to want 5 kids and he used to want 0

I have one living brother, but have always wanted 3 kids.

Dh has 8 siblings, and only wants 2 kids.

I have 3, SO is an only child. He wants 3 kids. We have one, I am ok with 3. DS is 5 we are TTC again in July, but have been since he was like a year. So we didnt choose the age difference. Me and my brother were 3 and a half years apart and we hated each other we fought all the time. Me and my sister were ten years apart we are really close.

I have two siblings (and 4 step-siblings). BF has 2 siblings.

So we're probably going to have 3 kids total, just like we both had in our families growing up.

I have one brother and DH has three sisters. We have two kids and are done.

DH and I each have 1 sibling and we both was 3-4 children.

I have 3 siblings and SO has 1. He wants 3 kids but I want to avoid middle child syndrome so I'm banking on 4  

I was a single child. Then my parents got divorced and I ended up with an older stepbrother and older stepsister on my moms side and a younger stepbrother and younger stepsister on my dads side. DH had a large family with 5 kids some older and some younger.

Right now I have two boys that are 2 and a half years apart and we are trying for number three. I do however feel like number 3 will never fit in with the other two becuase they are so close.

ETA: I was never close with any of my siblings.

I have one brother, we're 2 years apart, and are extremely close and grew up that way.

DH has a step sister and step brother, 5 and 3 years apart, and they aren't really close.

We each want 2 kids.

I have no siblings, DH has 2 sisters. I always knew I wanted more than 1 kid. We have 2 boys and a girl, and we're done.

I'm an only child (well, I have a half brother, but I didn't know him growing up, long story) My SO has an older sister and a younger half brother.


We only have one child right now, mostly because we definitely can't afford another one, and our son is way too hyper for me to handle another one any time soon.

I would be totally fine with one child, but sometimes I think him having a brother or sister would be cool. SO wants to have another one some day. Probably when my son is 6 or 7 is when I'll consider having another one tho.

I have 3 brothers and DH has 1 sister me and my brothers are ver close in age im the oldest and my youngest brother is only 3 yrs 3 months younger than me i get along great w 2 of them the middle one drives me nuts ya my mom was a little crazy lol DH and his sister have a love hate relationship there is a 2+ yr gap with them we have 6 daughters w varying age differences and we are expecting our 1 and only son in a couple weeks honestly i wanted 4 he wanted a boy lol so we ended up with 7 the last one was our surprise baby we were done after our 6th DD found out i was expecting at 13 and 1/2 weeks

I have two brothers and a sister. I am 12, 10, and 8 years younger than my siblings. DH has a brother and a sister. DH is 8 years younger than his sister and 19 months younger than his brother. We have 3 sons. A fourth isn't out of the question one day in the future. It'll more than likely happen. I always wanted to be like my mom...two boys and two girls. So much for that haha.

I have 2 sisters and 4 brothers, so 6 siblings in all. DH has 1 brother. We will have 3 kids come may and may adopt in the future but we are done making babies. My family growing up just made me want more than one child. Having so many siblings was usually really fun. I had built best friends and there was always something to do. I always knew I didn't want to raise an only child and DH just agrees with me. Lol

I have a sister and a brother. My brother passed away when he was 2 and neither of us met him. So you could consider that one sibling. My SO has a sister, and a half brother that was put up for adoption before they were born. So again, could say he has one sibling. We want 3 kids.
