re: Number of siblings vs number of children

no siblings for me and dh has 5 half siblings. Oldest is 52 and dh is 26. We wanted 2 kids. We have 3(we consider my son that passed away at 32 weeks)

I have 1 sibling that's 5 years older.Because of the gap and how distant we were growing up I just wanted at least 2 kids closer together. My kids are 3 years apart so I'm set. I may want another.

DH has 5 brothers and sisters. He used to want 4-6 kids.......and then our youngest was born lol. Now he says he's done.

I guess you could say our siblings impacted our spacing though. We don't want them too close or too far apart. I like the spaces we have in between our children, almost 3 years between our first two and just over 4 years between the second and third.

I have one brother (10 years older than me... I was an oopsie) and SO has one sister (3 years older than him.)

SO already has three kids, and the one I'm carrying is his fourth. We've talked about it, and if we get married, he wants to have one more with me, and then be DONE. (as in, snip, snip, be done.) 2 kids is fine with me. I used to want none...

Then again, my mother was one of 12 children, and my father was one of 4... they both wanted two kids. And that was it.

I have 7 siblings, I want 3-5 kids. Pat had 1 brother who he fought with a lot who is only 1.5 years older and he is happy with our 3.

I have a brother (5 yrs apart) and DH has 2 sisters. I wanted 2 kids but DH only wants one so we are done. DH used to not want kids at all.

Both SO and I have one sibling, but we want 3 kids.
My mom had 14 siblings, but she only had 2 kids. My dad had 3 siblings.

I only have 1 sister. SO has a brother that he grew up with (we now know he has 4 half siblings, long story).

I hated only having 1 sibling and thats why i want at least 3 kids.

I have 1 sister, he has 2 brothers. My sister and I are 2 yrs apart and idk how far apart DH and his brothers are but one is dead and he doesn't speak to the other or know anything about his life anymore.
We want 4-6 kids, all close together. So I guess the number of siblings we've had has affected us, we didn't like it and want more lol

I have a brother and sister and so does Dh. We were aiming for 2 to 3 kids. Then i got pregnant the first time and my son was born prematurely and died. Things got a lot more complicated. We had 2 babies following that who are 2 years apart and then we had our surprise baby who is 18 months younger than my middle baby.

I think that we're done, but that's not written in cement. One way or the other, i'm going to be officially done by the time I hit 35. After that, one of us is getting something permanent done. If i do have another baby, either me or dh will be getting snipped or tied by the end of that pregnancy.  

Yep I am an only child, SO has 4 sisters lol we always knew we wanted at least 2 which is what we have now. If we were more financially stable I have no doubt in my mind we would try for one or two more kids. We like "bigger"families. I always had a small family and it was sad as a kid.

I have five siblings and I want only two kids. Having a big family did impact my decision on how many kids I want... just adversely. Lol

DH has three siblings and he'd love 12 kids.... he doesn't want me to be pregnant again, though, so we'd have to adopt the other ten. LOL. He's nuts.

I have one brother (3 yrs younger) and SO has one brother (18 yrs younger- different father) we currently have two kids, SO wants one more and I am undecided.. I want more.. Not sure how many more, 1-2 (I wanna avoid the middle child also and I like even numbers) I was not close w my brother until we were both teens, now were close! He's not very close with his brother. Our kids are 2 yrs apart and super close.

I wanted 2 kids (we have 2 and are done)
DH wanted as many as possible LOL... not happening.

Practicing is fun though, hah!  

DH has only one little brother and they're 5 years apart. They've never been close. I have a little sister and brother and I'm not close with them either (although, my sister lives with me).

We have three kids. I've always wanted at least three. I planned for the first two to be space pretty close together (2 years). We're really good right now, although we both joke about having just onnnne more. But not right now. I'm wrapping up a BS and DH is going to power through his masters this spring. I'll be following him shortly with my own. Maybe after school is done for us both we'll consider things. I know I don't want anymore children once I hit 35.
