stupid question..

With my first my dr broke my water. So i have no idea about water leaking or breaking. I woke up last night with damp panties. Figured maybe sweat? (Gross i know) i sleep w my house freezing but thought maybe its because I'm bigger now being pregn. Average size but bigger then prepregn obviously. I woke up again with it the same way. Cooked the little one breakfast and now sitting here I feel damp again. Not soaked but damp. I know my dr thinks I'm a huge pain in the butt so I hate to call. Is there anyway to tell what it is? Its not soaked. And usually when I pee I can tell. He doesn't check till 38 weeks so I'm not sure if I've dialated. Ugh!! Haha

When you say damp is it like a little patch or like your underwear are wet to the point that you're changing them every couple of hours?

My waters were leaking slowly but I was still needing to change my underwear until they broke them.

A handy trick I've heard here is if you put a pad on and then after a while when there's some there, you smell it. Apparently it smells sweet and not like regular discharge. Hope that helps!  

could just be discharge. I had that a lot through out my last pregnancy.

If you are leaking regularly you will need to be checked. I thought I was peeing myself and I was leaking amniotic fluid. I wound up having a bio-physical at 41 weeks and my amniotic fluid was so low they induced me then (my induction was set for 42 weeks).... it's important to know how much you are losing.

I have to change it. Its damp like in the front all the way up my bottom from laying? And its clear? Ill try a pad. Thank you guys!!

Yeah that's fluid you may wanna give your doc a heads up and ask him what he thinks.

Think its fluid or discharge? I smelled it (gross) haha it didn't smell really like anything. Def not pee. Wasnt sweet either.

I don't know that discharge could soak panties but IDK.

it does and can. I had that my entire pregnancy. Got worse the farther along I go. I know it wasn't my water cause my Dr broke it.

Oh see i didn't have that, my fluid leaked and my water was still broken by my midwife.. like I said IDK about discharge.
