stay home worthy?

LO#1 has daycare today. She woke up with a bit of a cough and a bit of stuffy nose. I took her temp, no fever, not even an elevated temp. I asked her if her throat hurts and she said no. (she's 3, she knows if something hurts) The cough doesn't seem to bother her at all.

So is it stay home worthy? I don't think it is, but I wanted other thoughts.

Honestly if you don't have anything to do today I would keep her home, buttt if you have to go to work or what not I would send her.

she already stayed home yesterday cause she just didn't want to go. And I do have things to do today. Plus dad has meetings today from 11 to 3. And my youngest (3 months has dr apts) and groceries.

Then I would go ahead and send her.  

I would send her - unless they are coughing up green stuff or have a fever and sore throat, I will send them.

I'd call the daycare and ask them what they think, then at least they are aware that she could be getting sick.

no green phlegm, no fever(that was the first thing I check this morning) just checked her throat, not red or anything.

Sounds like she may just have a dry throat, then, but definitely call if you are still unsure!

Thanks, I'll bring her in, the worst that can happen is they tell me she can't stay. But I seem to remember that I saw a paper on the wall talking about this and the main things I remember is that if there is no fever, vomiting or diarrhea then you can still bring them in. I'd have to check again though.
