If your over 21 you can legally possess under an oz without getting in trouble. Your still not allowed to smoke in public and you still need your license to sell, grow or purchase from a dispensery

It's good they have some regulation on it. I'm just concerned we're all financially supporting drug cartels I'm some way.

as far as i know all the dispensery stuff is locally grown but idk for sure. I dont personally smoke but i am pro marijuana

It took a long time to get it legal. I remember in 96 when they had hepm rallys at the capital so its taken at least 16 years

Why would you knowingly smoke while pregnant again when CPS has already been involved   I'm sure the first time was just a warning, but when they see you didn't learn your lesson... they're gonna be more harsh. I hope your stupid actions don't get your kids taken away  

I don't care if people smoke cigarettes, pot, meth, etc. But don't do it while a fetus is growing and relying on your body for nutrition. Did it not hurt you a little bit that your baby's body had THC in it?

They drug tested my sister and she isn't a user of ANYTHING. My son was born with xanax in his system,because i took it through my whole pregnancy. My doctor didn't want me to stop the medication. They never tested him though mainly because they didn't have a reason too i guess. It might depend on where you live too.

I think a lot of assumptions are being made here. Smoking isn't the only way you can ingest THC. For all we know she could have eaten some cookies or used a vaporizer. There aren't any studies that show consumption of THC affects a fetus negatively so if it means the difference between throwing up nonstop and being able to eat then the benefits might just outweigh the very small and unproven risks.

With that being said I definitely don't condone smoking while pregnant and think it's best to avoid any substances if possible. It kind of appalls me that anyone would continually smoke anything (not just marijuana) during a pregnancy if it's purely for recreation but to each their own I guess.

OP, if there is even the slightest chance of your children being taken away you should be doing everything in your power to avoid that situation by NOT smoking anymore. That's all there is to it.

We all know their are different ways to ingest, pot being unsafe isnt the issue its the fact that she could lose her kid.

Why even bother asking? You know the answer to this... Or at least you should.

Why on earth would you risk having your baby taking away? Yes, if you have already had a baby test positive for your drug use, they will most likely test all your babies to see if they are drug babies. If you are willing to go through so much trouble to try to avoid the tests.. why not just quit? problem solved. Your baby is far more important than weed.

I must have missed the "smoking" part. In that case she's taking incredible risks.

no i did not smoke but had morning sickness and loss of appetite so badly i was seriously considering it luckily it only lasted a few months appose to the whole nine months

This. Tony's ex tested positive for drugs with their sons pregnancy, so after that all her pregnancies she was tested. She even had one child taken away at birth for drugs during pregnancy.

Just.... don't smoke. I am not anti-pot at all. I have friends that own a dispensary. It's a wonderful medicine. But its bad to SMOKE it when pregnant. It's also bad to imbibe knowing CPS can be up your ass and your kids are in jeopardy. I mean really, is smoking that important that you'd lose your kid over it?

this might be a stretch here but she didnt SAY she was smoking/consuming pot during this pregnancy, sounded like she was more concerned about the baby being tested.... but she said she didnt smoke anyways so good for her
