How did I forget

How much night weaning sucks      

Yeah... not looking forward to going through that again. Not looking forward to the weaning process in general, actually.

I'm going to miss breastfeeding in general but not breastfeeding the little dude persay. He is an uncomfortable aggressive nurser but man are sleepy breastfeeding cuddles awesome.

I can relate to that! My LO was the same way.

I didn't have a very good breastfeeding experience overall though.   My LO was tongue tied, so we got off to a rough start. Even after that was fixed, it was still painful for me, and every LC I saw said she was latched right and everything... it just hurt for some reason. Then I delt with cracked/dry nipples because my skin sucks, it was just once thing after another. Then I had a hard time weaning her, I was so glad to be done. I'm kind of dreading the process, hope it goes smoother this time.

Oh wow   hopefully this time is smooth! Ive read a lot of tongue tie horror stories. My first was in the nicu which made bfing more difficult but other then that he was easy. The youngest is just rough. He bites, scratches, pinches, etc. it hurts, I feel bad weaning but I am just done...

I felt really bad too, despite how much I disliked it. But I just got to the point I couldn't handle it anymore, and I figured she got 18 months of boob, that was probably good lol.

And she did all that stuff to me, too! I remember one thing in particular is she would sit there and scratch my nipple over, and over, and over, no matter how many times I said no, and moved her hand away. Swaddling didn't work, she would just squirm until she got loose. I use to get so annoyed lol.

How do you go about weaning at night without becoming engorged? Just curious, I have no intention of doing it for quite some time if at all
