ovulation bleeding?

Anyone experience this? For the past few months (we werent TTC then so I never really paid close attention) I remember having some weird, "random" brown spotting, like only when I wiped and then it would go away...I cant remember when I got my periods after that or anything, though.

Now, its CD25 and I started having a burning sensation in my nipples, and then some cramping. Then when I would wipe, there was brown blood (not much). This is the 2nd day of this, and while Im thinking it might be my period coming, I also recall me going a long time without real period blood in the past. Was doing some reading and it says some people experience this during ovulation? Could it be possible that my cycles are just really long now and this is ovulation?
