She should be good. Hailey is way more popular than Hallie, I think only a few will pronounce it that way.

That doesn't mean it is. It's straight up stupid to stubbornly insist it is, actually.

My thoughts are that it's so common to pronounce -leigh as lee now, that no one's going to mess up the pronunciation (unless they are an English language learner, it might confuse them). Language evolves. It doesn't bother me.

Yeah I agree. It's just how I first see them as pronounced but then correct myself before actually saying the name to the person.
