pregnancy after mc.

What's the soonest you can get pregnant after a miscarriage? Is it safe to get pregnant so soon after?

I think in most cases, yes. Might depend on how far along you are. Sorry for your loss, I've been there too.

Well, you are very fertile following a m/c so technically.you CAN get pregnant right after, but whether you should is a different story, I would follow the advice of your personal doctor who knows your medical history better and can make a recommendation based off.it. I had a m/c and got pregnant literally right away, but we werent trying.

depends on the type of miscarriage (ectopic, early, later, D&C vs. no D&C, medications to induce miscarriage if incomplete) you are most fetile the first 2-3 months after a mc so it is physically possible for many to get pregnant, but in some cases it's not advisable. It's best to ask the doctor to clarify what is ok in your particular case

This.
My OB recommended I wait 2-3 cycles, but getting pregnant right away doesn't increase the chance of another m/c unless you have an underlying condition.

What's the soonest you know of anyone getting pregnant afterwards? I was only about 4ish weeks along.. I had the natural miscarriage .. the hcg levels just continued to drop so my doctor let me know ahead of time.. so I knew it was coming.

I had 2 misscarriages before this one and I'm now 32 weeks...I had to have a D&E with the first, and the second flushed itself out. Both times I was told to wait 2 months, something about your body needing that long to reregulate itself hormone, and uturus lining wise. If you want the best advice though go ask your OB.

I have heard of women getting pregnant within 2 weeks of the miscarriage, but it's best to allow time to heal physically and emotionally.

with mine that was similar to yours, my doctor told me there was no reason to wait, of course with my ones that were 6 weeks and greater he had me wait 3 months

I was told one full cycle. I waited about a year after my first mc with a D&C but I got pregnant again after my sec mc after one full cycle. But that was not planned. Which is this baby I'm pregnant with now lol.

I got pregnant 3 weeks after my D&C. My doctor told me to wait 2 weeks to heal physically and when I was emotionally ready I could try again. Your body knows best, so try when you're ready.
