Need Advice.

Hello Everyone,
I figured this was the appropriate forum to post on because I am torn between this very rough decision in my life right now. About 3 years ago my doctor diagnosed me with endometriosis. Although they told me eventually I would be able to get pregnant, I would need to get hormone injections to become pregnant. I have been with my boyfriend over 3-years now and have never become pregnant. Last week I noticed my period was late, decided to take a pregnancy test just in case. All 3 of them came out positive. I have had all the symptoms and have a gut feeling that I am pregnant. I have not been to the doctors yet, as I do not have any type of health insurance. I am very scared and nervous, I love children and can't wait to have them, but I do not think at this time in my life it is right to have a child for me. I work part-time at a grocery store and am a full time college student pursuing my nursing degree. I am 21. I have a supportive boyfriend, but in a few months he will be gone for the next few years, and I will have to raise the baby on my own. I can barely support myself, at this time. I do not know what to do. I signed up for an appointment at a clinic to receive a medical abortion on Wednesday. I am so confused and scared what to do? Any advice/experiences would be appreciated. I don't know what kind of advice you want people to give you, are you asking for people to support your decision or talk you out of it. I personally am prolife and have no respect for people who use abortions. I say seek what your heart tells you to do, there are other options for people like you who are scared they won't be able to take care of the baby, but if you think abortion is your way to go do it. All this post will turn into is a prolife prochoice debate though so probably wasn't the best place to put it.

I would have the child- you are on your way to a good career- I always thought I never wanted kids then I really wanted one later in life and I too had endometriosis- too 21 mths to conceieve and they said it would never happen without fertility meds- mydaughter is the best thnig in life to ever happen to me and to think I almost gave up trying -- she is my world and I would do anything for her... if you were 15 and inhigh schol I might say differently but at your age and withbeing told you may never get pregnant I would go through with it for sure.. good luck!!

Talk to your boyfriend? Coming from someone who's made what I now deem to be the wrong decision in this situation, don't decide anything quickly. We're you on birthcontrol of any kind??

My sister had endometriosis. It took her 6yrs to get pregnant and keep a baby. Then a year after that she had to have a partial hysterectomy and cant have any more kids. Just weight your decision very carefully.

it cant turn into a debate on this forum because they will remove your posts and ban you- on the rules for this forum you cant tell someone that abortion is wrong etc.. trust me I was banned before and seen others banned too...

this is a hard one...on one hand this is not something that can simply just happen for you. on the other hand you are working to better your life and a baby would really put some strain on that...this is where you and your boyfriend sit down and talk about all of your options.

I understand that, but it doesn't stop people from doing it and I have seen it done many times. It can easily turn into one, and don't want to see her harrassed for her question.

Well, I wasn't sure where else to post this, I did want advice/experiences on mothers that have undergone abortions in the past. How the experience was and how they feel up to this day? Just some insight. I understand people have strong views, that's great that displays a good character. I am just at a loss right now and very scared/nervous on what to do. I have sat down with my boyfriend, but haven't talked to him much about abortion. He said that the decision is up to me 100%, that he would support me with whatever I want to do because he loves me. But he said he is also 100% against abortion, as it goes against his beliefs. So it just puts me in a hard spot, having to make a decision all on my own, especially one that will change my entire life.

How far along are you? Do you have more time to think about it?

Do you think it's possible for me to finish my degree in nursing, while raising a newborn? I only have 2 years left, but my clinical s start next year right around the time my baby will be born.

I took 3 pregnancy tests last Monday, which all came out positive. The first day of my last period was on December 7th. The nurse told me I was about 6 weeks, 5 days. The clinic says they do medical abortions, every Wednesday up until you are 9 weeks pregnant. After 9 weeks you have to get the surgical abortion done.
