The main feeling I am battling is guilt. I want to further my life and career so bad, I want to be successful and have a GREAT job with GOOD pay so that I DO NOT have to struggle the rest of my life. My mom has struggled to raise me and my 2 younger sisters her entire life. She is still struggling this day, but she made it. Am I being selfish?

Idk, it doesn't sound like you're convinced it's the way to go. I REALLY believe you can finish nursing school if you put your mind to it. Sure, coffee may be your best friend for the next couple years, but the time will go by quickly. For me, personally, that wouldn't be a good enough reason.

No, you're not being selfish at all. You just have a lot of pros & cons to weigh out.

yes i thiink you can!! I got my nursing degree while also earning a second degree- ( school full time and 2 part time jobs plus keeping up an apartment and keeping my bf at the time happy) I think yuo can do anything you set your mind to and i will also mentionI had an abortion at age 15 and though I know every situation is different- there were multiple factors in mine- I was living with my mom- my dad was remarried to a woman I hated who couldnt have any more kids but wanted a baby- they would have taken me from my mom and taken my baby as theirs to raise- my bf was a psycho nutjob who I really didnt want a tie with the rest of my life plus I was in 10th grade no job- my mom had no job, and on and on- BUT I regret aborting my child every day wondering what he or she might look like or be like- when I found out after being on BC pills 18 yrs that I had low progesterone levels and endometriosis and really wanted a child and saw that I might never be able to I really regretted my abortion and now that I have my sweet daughter I imagine what would life be like had I never had her- do what you think is right but know you CAN do anything you set your mind to!!
