Belly button Peircings

How will I know when or if I should take mine out? Im 26 weeks and so far so good. Im not worried about having to take it out im just not sure when I should or if I will have to.

Mine stayed in my whole pregnancy. I never took it out.

Im 27 weeks and still have mine in. Mine is placed where there is only a little bit of skin so I doubt I will need to take it out. If you have to take it out Im sure it will bother you enough to let you know. It might get red or start to get pushed out.

I wish I would have kept mine in because maybe I wouldn't have gotten this ugly ass scar :/ I took mine out at like 9 weeks. Now I am 33 weeks and my scar turned into a stretch mark   they have special rings for it I know they do at piercing shops too!

Im 33 weeks and i still have mine in., it still has tons of room to that part of my belly button hasnt changed at all. Im keeping mine in unless my belly button stretches to where i have to remove it.. I dont think they allow you to have piercings in the hospital when your having your baby though. All my friends had to take theirs out.

I gave birth at BC women's and they let me keep it in.

I took mine out when I got a positive pregnancy test. If you don't want to take it out and you don't have to maybe look into getting one of the pregnancy ones. You might need to take it out at the hospital. Especially if you end up with a csection.

You can keep it in the whole pregnancy, most hospitals will allow you to have in when you deliver or you just remove when you see it's the time to go to labor and delivery

I'm pregnant with my third and I never took mine out expect during delivery I had to take all my piercings out but I got the maternity belly ring. It's really long and makes it look like I have to outty belly buttons through my shirt but I love it! You can usually get them at your local tattoo and piercing shop or they can order them and its abut $5 for it.

if it is too long, you can cut it.

I had my belly button pierced when I got pregnant.. But, mine kind of just came out when I hit like 24 weeks because I got so big.. But, they make plastic ones you can buy online that are big enough to grow with your stomach.. I didn't get one.. & the scar after you take it out, sucks.. I have stretch marks coming off of mine.. & it kind of looks like a reindeer.

It seems as if all us girls who took ours out ended up with horrible stretch marks... I wish I had kept mine in.
