Ish. I am spilling protein, swelling, and the high BP along with a headache for about three weeks. We should know something more in a few days about what way it's gonna go.

I hope I at least make it to the 20th which is the soonest he will schedule my repeat c section.

Hope you do too! That sounds scary  ...I didn't have high BP but I had awful swelling..my legs, face, and arms blew up. One side would go numb at night-my Ob said he was sitting on a nerve or something. It gave me carpel tunnel too.

Oh yeah I am pretty much insanely miserable! Like because my Bp shoots up so fast (it will go from 120-139/70 ish to 150-16/80-90) I get awful Braxton hicks. And he is as of today sitting right on my cervix so that's miserable. Just ready for the end.

Yeah my oldest came at 38 weeks and my youngest came at 35 weeks. I think I really just grow babies fast lol my you fest never even went to nicu or anything lol

I'm not sure how OP fails to see this was all a result of her selfishness to begin with. Had she waited until her son was asleep before smoking none of this would have happened. And if she says she can't wait because her son requires her presence to sleep at more than a year old then perhaps she might want to consider working on his separation anxiety instead of encouraging it.

OP, just a thought: I read this whole thing and saw just one person who agreed you did not overreact and that person admitted to not being there and knowing the actual story. If everyone else in an 11 page thread reaches the same conclusion that you are overreacting then you might want to do the mature thing and evaluate the possibility that you are in the wrong for a.) leaving your child with someone who parents differently, b.) using a crib as a timeout area, c.) overreacting when your friend was clearly trying to help. (And what did you expect him to do? Parent your child while you're off smoking? That's not his job, it's yours.)

I don't mean to sound harsh here but you're still not getting it 11 pages into this thing. The responsible thing to do here is consider you might have been in the wrong for leaving the child with someone else who parents differently to begin with. If you're concerned your child can't bear to be alone for ten minutes the chances are you shouldn't be off smoking and relying on someone else I watch your son. Hopefully you will realize that you did indeed overreact. I don't think you're crazy or a terrible mom, I just think you're too busy deflecting everything to see why this all happened up begin with.
