bad cough

I have had a bad cough for 4 weeks now went to the dr and they gave me amoxicillin and that was a week ago and my cough has not got any better it feels like it gettin worse and now it got to the point that i am weeing myself evrey time i cough. i have not had a full night sleep in over a week can anyone tell me the best way to get a full night sleep please : (

Humidifier. Throat spray. Gargle warm salt water.

i have tryed every think that i can have and the warm salt water it made me sick but thank you

I'm very sick as well and I can't sleep. My doctor told me that being pregnant I can't take anything I want for a sleep aid, but he did say I can't take tylenol pm, or a generic acetaminophen. Talk to your doctor about it, I take it and I sleep good throughout the whole night now!(:
