Goals or Friendships.

Normally I wouldn't but this here but I can not put this on facebook or ask another network but I have no idea what to do.

I and Sara* wanted to do mermaid act at TRF (Texas Renaissance Festival) but after discussing the legal aspects of the pool and everything, the TRF didn't want to take the liability and said no they didn't want to hired us but welcomed us to be vendors . (Holy run on sentence) As vendors we could have a tank and we could have a mermaid, we would just have to have a shop and sell items. Sara, her partner, SO and I sat down and looked how we could be a vendor and things to sell, Sara did most of the work on finding items and tent rentals (We need a roof, TRF rules in case of rain.) SO and I looked in the mermaid tail and the tank as I would be the mermaid

Well one of the daughters of the owners saw the video of me swimming in a fabric tail and she loved it. She wants to sign SO and I on as a act but not Sara and her partner.
If we do the vendor then it could cost us about 3K with a 5K profit, if SO and I do the mermaid act then it would cost about 1K and no profit but we could get hired for other things.

I feel like if I sign on with TRF, all of Sara's work goes down the drain and I am backstabbing her.

Should I see if TRF would be would hired Sara to be another spotter ? (Spotter is someone who make sure no one tries to drown you or pulls on your tail.)
Should I just go for it? I've worked so hard for this.

i would stick to my friend and do the vendor thing with her and tell that other person its either all of us or no one.
